yesterday i spoke about vicki as being one example of software for choreography. other examples include «e-merge» and «choreograph».

there are few actively developed software for choreography projects, and most lack publicly available documentation. the dance-tech community really needs to collate and index as much work as it can. the steady flow of video and image postings to the dance-tech network is useful, but text based documentation would be also be beneficial.

we need to know what has been done in the past. this helps us to build upon what we have learned, and articulate the differences in new approaches.
